Driveway Drainage

Driveway Drainage, Done as One Pour

The look you are after with none of the joints that sink, spread or sprout weeds. Poured in a day by the crew that makes the material.

Rain goes straight through, not across

Searching for "driveway drainage" usually means two things: you want the driveway to look good, and you want the rain to go into the ground instead of across it. Permeable concrete does both. One continuous pour with 20 to 26 percent connected voids, so every square metre drains, not just the gaps.

No units to rock loose under a car. No edges to creep. No joints for weeds. One surface, poured and finished in a day.

What the poured surface gets you

Nothing to sink or spread

No units to rock, no edges to creep, no joints for weeds and ants.

The whole surface drains

130 to 170 litres per minute per square metre, through the material itself.

Built for traffic

20 to 25 MPa mixes, trafficable to AS 3727.1, with a P4 slip rating.

Poured in a day

Our crews place 500 square metres and more in a day, as one visit.

Counts as permeable area

A drainage surface that helps meet council permeable area requirements on new builds and extensions.

Common questions

Will it handle cars every day?+
Yes. Driveway mixes run 20 to 25 MPa and are trafficable to AS 3727.1 with a P4 slip rating. It is a driveway surface first, a drainage system second.
How much rain can it actually take?+
The material accepts 130 to 170 litres per minute per square metre. Australian storms do not get close to that, which is why finished surfaces show no puddles and no sheet of water heading for the street.
Will council count it as permeable area?+
Many councils set a minimum permeable area for new builds and extensions, and a permeable concrete surface is a drainage surface designed for exactly that. Requirements differ between councils, so tell us where the job is and we will talk through what yours asks for.
What does it cost?+
It depends on the area, the access and what is there now. Larger areas favour a poured surface because our crews place it in one visit. We quote after seeing the site, and if a different surface genuinely suits your job better we will tell you that.
